In 1971 Mr. E. William Virtue purchased the business and Perkasie Container Corporation was formed with his wife and Mr. Walter Bare remained on as manager.

Over the years we have serviced many local manufacturing businesses including: Royal Pants Co, Delbar Industries, meat-packaging companies to pharmaceutical and fabric companies. We also service many distributors with in our service area. We are still servicing many of these companies to this day. Our Service areas include Bucks, Montgomery and Lehigh counties as well as some of Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Mr. Virtue made physical changes to Perkasie Container by adding machinery and a new addition to the building it self in 1986. One of his biggest additions was to bring his son, Bradley on board to work in the plant. Brad has learned every inch of the business from production to customer service and managing the entire workings of the office.

In 1993, Brad’s wife Patti joined the company to offer full-time customer service, and take care of the daily office duties. With Brad’s guidance we have grown by leaps and bounds, but we still offer the personal service to all customers.

This past November, Mr. Virtue passed away, but has left Perkasie Container Corporation to Brad, who will carry on the business with all the services our customers have come to know and count on for years to come.

The building we are located in was built in 1910, as a tomato canning plant; over the years our building has housed a number of businesses. During Word War 1, it was Perkasie Forge Company until a disastrous fire in 1918. It was then rebuilt, and in the 20’s and 30’s became Diehl and Wampole Pottery. In 1939, it became a hosiery mill followed by a metal stamping plant, auction house and warehouse until sold in 1966 to partners Al Benton and Bob Krieble who established Perkasie Container.
